Superbly located in the heart of Evans Head, you’re just 500m from Main Beach and 400m from the Evans River, with cafés, shops and the Illawong Hotel all within easy walking distance. The Evans Head Bowling Club is right nearby too, perfect for a family meal, a cold drink or an afternoon of barefoot bowls.
Wattleseed is made for easy-going family holidays, with plenty of room to relax inside and out. Best of all, your four-legged family members are welcome too! Pets are welcome both inside and outside, with a fully fenced yard giving them a secure space to enjoy. samara W - 29th October 2025Walking distance to main beach, river, main street for great coffee and food supplies, bowling club with great Chinese food and a huge deck overlooking the designated bowling green for little ones to play. The property was very clean with a spacious living area & a great deck/BBQ area fully fenced for the dogs. The Drift and Stay team were incredibly warm & responsive throughout the booking process and during our stay despite our somewhat complex requirements. Love the keypad entry!

Stephen W - 27th April 2025Wattleseed was such a great house for the location and the back yard for the dogs! Close to shops, clubs, pub, river and the beach, so good to be able to walk everywhere. Off leash dog beach was a short drive away. The back deck was so beautiful with all the native trees and visiting birds. Beds comfy and kitchen well equipped. A home away from home. Highly recommended.

Ryan R - 1st September 2024Awesome house for the family and dogs. Awesome little fenced yard with a nice deck/bbq area. Beds were comfy and everything was clean. They leave you towels, beach towels and a beach umbrella. Also worth mentioning one of the couches is a pullout couch so we used that one night instead of the bunk beds as it was quite hot and the couch was underneath the aircon. We had the outdoor shower tap break while we were there, and they had maintenance out there in 10 minutes on a Saturday afternoon! Highly recommend this place
